WORK PERMIT

If you are a Non-Eu citizen and you want work in Hungary, you need a Work Permit.

From Since 2014, the government has made a series of changes to immigration law. From January 2014 work permit and residence permit processing will be provided through a so-called merged process for third-country citizens. The work permit application currently has to be done as part of the residency application. The name of the new type of permission is: "Residence Permit for the Purpose of Employment".

JOB OFFER

If somebody applies for a residency permit in the EU, he/she has to justify the reason of the application. In the case of an application for "Residence Permit for the Purpose of Employment" ( "Work Permit"), you have to prove to the Authorities that you would have a job in Hungary. Nobody could get a "Residence Permit for the Purpose of Employment" ( "Work Permit") without a Hungarian "Job Offer" It is not possible to obtain a "Work Permit for seeking a job" in Hungary. I DO NOT HAVE JOB OFFER

Currently, there is a huge demand for both skilled and unskilled workers in Hungary. However our office cannot provide jobs, but a lot of Hungarian companies contact us to help them find good employees. Unfortunately, we do not have enough time, staff and expertise to involve in the job or employee selection. WHAT ELSE YOU NEED FOR A WORK OR RESIDENCE PERMIT

For every Residence Permit for the Purpose of Employment" ( "Work Permit") application, the applicant:

has to have an accommodation in Hungary
has to verify the exit from Hungary after the residency is over

Except as provided for by law, an application for a residence permit may be submitted to any consulate officer of Hungary, or at any other place authorized to accept applications for residence permit located in the country where the applicant’s permanent or temporary residence is located, or in the country of the applicant’s nationality. Our staff can prepare all the necessary documents, send it to the applicant. The applicant only has to file them at the consulate.
