The Schengen visa entitles third-country nationals to enter and stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days.

Entitles you to enter the transit zone of the airport and stay there until the departure of the flight to the destination country. It is compulsory for citizens of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka
"B" Visa (Transit Visa)
Entitles the visa holder to travel through the country. It could be single or multiple enter visa
3. "C" Visa (Entry visa, short-term stay)
Entitles the visaholder for a maximum of 90 day stay in the Eu.
The application for a Schengen visa must be submitted at the mission of the Member State which is the main destination of the visit (if visits involving several countries are the same or nearly the same length, then the determining factor is the first destination, i.e. the country where the applicant enters the Schengen area for the first time). According to the rules, applicants whose main destination is Hungary can submit an application for a Schengen visa at a Hungarian Consulate.
As a general rule, visas are not issued at border stations, this could only be done in the case of family members of EEA citizens, and in the case of exceptional circumstances (e.g. deceased family member is traveling to his funeral and can prove that he did not have the opportunity to obtain a visa in advance.)
The deadline for evaluating visa applications is 15 days. (However, this can be extended).
RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF SCHENGEN VISA
The visa application must be submitted in person (except for organized group trips).
The application can be submitted within 3 months before the trip.
The visa application must be submitted on the prescribed form.
1 ID photo must be attached.
Visa application fee: €110
The application must be accompanied by proof offinancial cover for the trip (with bank statement or invitation letter)
The applicant must have travel health insurance valid for all Schengen member states.
The applicant must prove the purpose of the trip.

THE INVITATION LETTER
There is no possibility for apply for a registered invitation lette. The visa applications for the short term visa has to be submitted by the applicant personally.
