Greetings! I would love the opportunity to live and work in Budapest for a year or more. I have an MBA from Santa Clara University in the heart of Silicon Valley, specializing in Finance and International Business. My Bachelor's degree is from UCLA (currently ranked the #1 pubic university in the US), double-major in History and German Studies. I spent a full year abroad at the Georg-August Universität Göttingen, where I studied Deutsch Philologie. Additionally, I interned at a German law firm, Böhmert & Böhmert, specializing in Patents & Trademarks, where I conducted legal research in preparation for litigation. I have career experience in Financial Management positions, as well as Marketing Analysis, where my primary responsibilities were 'back-office' support. I conducted research for investment and business decisions, became proficient with Excel, and created client-facing materials. For the past several years I have been focused primarily on discretionary and automated commodities trading, as a remote independent contractor for a proprietary trading firm based in Chicago, Illinois (USA), as well as developing a proprietary automated trading system (ATS) software application with a partner. I taught myself the basics of Pandas and Numpy in Python in order to achieve performance improvements in developing this analysis model. Additionally, I have been working part time as a general education, high math, and college preparatory exam tutor for the past few years. I enjoy teaching and working with children, and derive a lot of satisfaction from helping others. My professionalism, organization and discipline is top notch, and those are matched by positive attitude, trustworthiness, and accountability.
